1. Make a List Before Packing
You don’t want to get halfway around the world and suddenly realize you forgot your prescription medication or your laptop cord. Make a list of everything you need to take with you, and check it off as you go. Make the list a few days before you pack. That way, you have several days to remember important items, which is much more effective than trying to remember everything in one sitting.
