The study found that people who work in a clean space have more focus compared to those who worked in a cluttered environment. It added that the effects of clutter is similar to the effects of multi-tasking.

Set Your Goals

Setting your goals for the day is as important. Studies have shown that when one has specific goals, he or she is able to gain more confidence and has better self-control. When setting goals, though, make it a point to create simple and achievable ones instead of general ones.

Prioritize Tasks

Once you’re done in the goal-setting part, it’s time to prioritize your tasks for the day. Make a to-do list to guide you in your work. This will also help you avoid multi-tasking and not accomplishing your work within the allotted time.
