Round 7 results will be posted 9/3/08

Many people have been asking when we will be announcing the results from Round 7. We will be announcing the results Sept. 3, 2008 (Wednesday) on this blog. The holiday will be over, most will be back at school/work so the odds are higher everyone will be available so I can start processing sites.
I’ll explain this when the announcement is made but let me quickly explain the process.
- A list of the new members will be posted on the blog.
- Within the next couple of days after the announcement, I will be contacting the new members to begin processing their sites so their content displays on 9rules.
- At this time I will be sending out questions to those blogs that were not accepted but we had questions for the owner. If you saw the stream those are the sites we said were “maybes”.
- During this time it is not unheard of for there to be shifts within the communities. Depending on the sites accepted new communities might start, others might be merged, etc.
- If time permits (after I am done getting the new members settled in) I will post here on the blog how you can contact me to find out why your blog was not accepted. This is done privately via email.
That’s it! I just wanted to give everyone the date when the results will be posted.

Yeah, cheers for keeping everyone up to speed. The follow-up dialogue for those not accepted sounds like a great idea if time allows – it’s not a nice thought to be in the ‘not quite made it’ category but that makes constructive criticism/advice all the more valuable I guess.
The hard work you guys have been putting in has not gone unnoticed (I recall the stream being really fun to listen to)!

Thanks so much for the update. I’ve been busy the past few days and haven’t checked up on the status, so it’s good to see a set date for the results. I’m looking forward to it. I only wish I would’ve caught the live stream.

I’m so antsy to find out the results! I’ve noticed the hits as well and it’s only made my anticipation so much more obnoxious and difficult to deal with!

The results will be posted shortly. We aren’t voting – the decisions have already been made. Honestly, we don’t have to vote. Scrivs and I have been doing this so long we’re in sync for the most part.
And for the record, I don’t use that form so you don’t see me coming. I know you guys look for that. There are times I look at a site 8 or 9 times and I know that could drive some people nuts.
ALL of the sites were viewed so if you don’t see that referral, don’t freak out. I NEVER use it and Scrivs only uses it sometimes. I took notes on every site.
