I really, honestly, don’t harbour any grief or ill-will. I’m simply curious by nature and tend to question (frequently in order to learn more).

Fair comment. Although asking me to listen to you, then stating why you don’t in reverse is a little one-sided, don;t you think?

I asked what makes you guys relevant. You can actually answer that without making it personal. I’ve always addressed my concerns to 9rules as a whole, because I’m really, really not interested in picking out people.

I want to know what makes 9rules just as important now, as it was a few years ago – and again, telling me my comment is effectively irrelevant is just ragging me out, your so busy telling me, personally, that I have issues you’re not bothering to actually address the question.

And as for mud-slinging? Asking why 9rules does (or doesn’t) do something isn’t mud-slinging. I’m asking a question – if you don’t want to answer it, then just say so.

We don’t need your motivational tactics to cheer us up. We do enough cheering on our own so for you to come over here on our blog and ask why are we still relevant because you don’t see us as such? That’s just silly to us and we responded appropriately.

Admittedly coming from someone else there probably wouldn’t have been much of a response, but you must admit you’ve had your fair share of mud-slinging with us. It’s one thing to question our efforts when you see them, it’s another thing to question the whole entity of 9rules as you have done.

@mike hate? Such a strong word. Where did I “hate” on 9rules? I don’t hate. But I can hold you guys accountable to what you say and what you do.

Lately, there is a lot of talk about “change” and sure, stagnation is a waking death. But, really, all we ever hear about is change.

I’m not going to sit here and wax lyrical about how great you guys are – I’m not part of the cheer-leading squad. If my responses fire you up, then great, that’s the idea.

Change isn’t useful without direction – and you lost that somewhere along the way. You wouldn’t be launching an all-new-old 9rules if that weren’t the case.

So bang on about how much of a loser I must be, or that I don’t know shit, if you must. But don’t mock people who take the time to question your efforts – when people stop listening, you’ve already lost.

hthth is right, of course. Change makes for an interesting diversion, but if change is all that there is left – what does that say?

Quite frankly. the change makes me more interested in investing time in it, as it proves that they are striving towards improvement.

Yes we change a lot. We aren’t afraid to try new things, push our boundaries and we definitely aren’t afraid to take a risk or two. Or three. Or four. That’s how we learn and evolve.

Is the new new 9rules similar to the old new 9rules, or the new old 9rules?

No offense scrivs, but 9rules just doesn’t strike me as being relevant anymore. You guys change so often, then throw that change out with the bath water and start all over again that I’m surprised anyone is still investing time in it.
