We still have about 500 sites to go over along with my ToDo “need to check back on” list, which has about 100 sites on it. That should save yourself from going crazy and you have to remember this is the holidays. Enjoy this slow time. Enjoy the new sites. If you email me, I’m labeling the email but if I respond today with “I haven’t hit your site yet” that probably won’t give you the answer you are looking for. If you do not get in (or I’m not contacting you about your site) I can respond with the why if you wish and come the first of the year, we can talk about it.

Congrats to all the new sites, although I’ll probably avoid Smitten Kitchen like a fat person avoids salads without dressing, since there’s a fair chance I’d try to consume my monitor while reading that site. (Seriously, though, I love cooking, so that one’s definitelly getting bookmarked, if not seen often for the sake of my now-finally-shrinking waistline.)
Tyme: Thanks for the note and explanation. Now I don’t feel quite as bad, although I would have liked to see whether I got in or not *before* I left for vacation.
What happens if you send out an acceptance note but the author doesn’t reply back? How long will it be before you rescind the invitation?

Gnorb: if you do not respond to my email, I will send it again, especially with the holidays. I don’t retract it, I just keep trying. Like The Daily Sunrise, he was accepted months ago but he didn’t get the email(s). So I announced it on the site then we still played email tag for a bit. I don’t give up.
