Mike Rundle is Gay and May Run For Office Again

Now it’s very rare when you wake up to an email with a link to a story about Mike Rundle being gay and running for office again, but there it was sitting in my inbox. I read the story and I’ll be damned, but Mike Rundle is gay and actually running for office again in 2007. Guess I shouldn’t have been so soft during the interview process and will make sure to do a thorough screening next time because we simply can’t have politicians working here at 9rules.
Despite his coming out, Rundle may run again in the 2007 election.

Hey Dennis, you must not have realized that I’m a 23 year old guy in North Carolina, and the Mike Rundle Paul’s referring to is a middle-aged gay man living in Kansas, who happens to have the same name as me.
And if I were gay, which I’m not, why would I be ashamed of it? Do you feel that people should be ashamed of their sexuality or something?

Because in many places it still carries negative stereotypes, especially in politics (I’m not saying that this is right, merely a reason why people might keep quiet about their sexual oreintation).
