boagworld

Written by Scrivs on November 23, 2005

Rarely do you visit a site and feel like you are entering another world, but that is the experience I encounter everytime I visit boagworld. From the design to the content, Paul has a unique way of going about things and it helps make his site unique from others. boagworld truly is another place on the web.

Boagworld.com exists to help you poor unfortunate souls who have been lumbered with the job of managing the company’s website. This responsibility is on top of your normal work and has been given to you despite the fact that you know little or nothing about the internet and building websites.

Welcome Paul.

The Net Is Dead

Written by Scrivs on November 23, 2005

Let’s see what can I say about Marco besides that he is probably the most passionate person I have talked to when it comes to his own site. I know he has been waiting for this day for a long time and I am glad to finally accept him into the Network because he does put so much effort into his work and it shows.

The Net is Dead is the home of Marco van Hylckama Vlieg, web developer, designer and cyber anarchist. On ‘The Net is Dead’ Marco writes about technology, web development, design, gadgets and mac stuff but also about all things cyberspace / net-culture. Besides being a avid blogger Marco releases design templates and plugins for various weblog systems from time to time.

Welcome Marco.

Informationally Overloaded

Written by Scrivs on November 23, 2005

Gordon has the distinct pleasure of being the first person to ever reject our Round 1 acceptance and then come back to apply again to the Network. Understandably things were a bit different in Round 1. Many people were still unaware of what 9rules was about and we were asking people for their first-born, but my how things have changed. Gordon’s site has changed considerably as well from that time and all for the better. His thoughts and opinions are spot-on and his site overwhelms you with a peaceful feeling.

The title of the site is a clue the owners state of mind; Informationally Overloaded reflects the myriad of differing influences on my life, my thoughts and my approach to interaction on the web. Covering personal prose and pop culture, web to wonder, it’s where I explore. It’s taken me since 1999 to get my site to where it is today.

Welcome Gordon.

Not Too Geeky

Written by Scrivs on November 22, 2005

It all started with a simple entry on how unbelievably much I kick ass with regards to promotion (heh) and it exploded from there. Interacting with Tyme White and her community gave me the same feeling that I get when reading Whitespace. You can feel the energy in the conversation, which makes you want to return constantly to see what’s up next. Well okay, maybe you don’t feel that way with Whitespace, but it’s nice to imagine it like that.

The intent of this site is to inform and educate readers and listeners about topics related to online interactions and technology. Geekies things, explained in plain English. Not Too Geeky explores a wide range of topics spanning how to blog without getting into trouble to tweaking a game to get the most out of it. Read. Listen. Learn. Be Informed. Not intimidated.

Welcome Tyme.

Living With Music

Written by Scrivs on November 22, 2005

Volkher Hofmann is someone I truly envy. I admit to having a lot of weird interests, but never enough motivation to write about them. Volkher is a music collector and has decided to create a site which will allow him to share his knowledge of music collections with the world. And damn is it a good site. I mean really good. The type of site that makes me want to go out and by some shelves and start getting into CDs and LPs again.

Living With Music is a site for music collectors who are looking for ways to add to, manage, store and display their sizeable collections. The site is updated several times a week or whenever new products, releases or other items merit a new post.

Welcome Volkher.
