9rules - The best content from the independent web.

One of the qualities that I hear many people refer to when speaking about the 9rules Network is the great design of the sites. I always worry about this because I don’t want people thinking that we base our decisions on the design of the site or that when we do announce sites that don’t meet the high design standards set by our readers that we are slipping. However, I know it’s not a bad thing when you can get a site like Matt Brett’s into the Network.

What started out as a personal journal has evolved into a site chalk full of amateur game reviews (accompanied by gameplay video and dozens of screenshots), CSS design techniques and tutorials, music that’s been kicking my ass lately and of course the day-to-day, from family to my many professional endeavors.

Recently featured in the Web Standards Awards we wish to welcome Matt with his great design and killer content.
