Colin Devroe Is About To Retire
Written by Scrivs on September 30, 2005
Yep, you read that right. Colin is 25 today and at that age you have to wonder what else is there to do in life since it’s almost over…right? Even though I am 25 I missed the first 24 years in some sort of non-alcoholic drunken haze so I have to catch up with all of that. Matthew is around 78 so I am surprised he is still alive and Mike just turned 12 I think. Amazing what those lil buggers can do with photoshop huh?
Anyways, happy birthday buddy! Quarter of a century ain’t that bad at all.

At least you guys don’t have any age discrimination going on.
Happy birthday old man.

I actually had a plan to retire by the age of 25. I wrote it on a napkin one day, in a resort condo I was staying in. For about 2 years I couldn’t find the napkin, then I realized I had left it in a corner of the condo. Then, one day on VH1, I saw Verne Troyer pissing on the floor in the corner of the exact condo I stayed in. Sure enough, he pissed directly onto the napkin I had wrote my “master plan” on.
I’m working on a new one now though, etching it into stone, hosting it on Media Temple (mt) servers and making sure all my friends help me with it.

Congratulations and happy birthday Colin. If I hadn’t quit drinking I would be sure to drink your age in beer for you, but now I’ll just drink your age in Diet Mountain Dew.
Funny how life is, isn’t it? We’re still young guys but the prehistoric stuff we can remember. I still remember when they used to play music videos on MTV, when the world was asking who shot Mr. Burns, thinking I was going to grow up to be a member of NO Mam, when you had a shitty product all you did was add a clock to it and how when I heard I was going to be in a movie I was like….
Anyhow best wishes and I hope you have an enjoyable birthday. And I too know what its like to have a master plan that gets lost along the way, but it’ll be ok.
