As the second round of submissions nears its end, it is but the beginning of a daunting task for the 9rules team. Sifting through URLs that point to literally thousands of pages of content while drinking nothing but coffee as we read each and every word.
Ok, so maybe not every single word – but yes, we do read a great deal of the Website in question prior to making our decision to include them in the Network.
Ryan Latham, of Unmatched Style, got a sneak peak at our submissions (he is an awfully crafty bugger). He sent me an instant message saying that he does not envy the job we have ahead of us. However, he did say that he was thoroughly impressed with the submissions that he had the privilege to “peep”. Thanks Ryan, and you do well not to envy us – however I can say that we are all extremely pleased with the turn out this far for Round 2.
Do big names really matter though? Well of course they do. But that isn’t what we are looking for. We’re looking for valuable resources with rich content that will help us provide our readers with the best possible experience. That being said, helping to spread the word about a fledgling Network is always best done by people who are already “popular”.
Myself, and the entire 9rules team, would like to personally thank all of the Round 1 9rules Network members for helping us spread the word about this very important second round. It was a job well done – and we will all be richly rewarded by some of the company we will be able to enjoy in the coming weeks.
To those that have submitted for Round 2, thank you for taking the time to do so. Also, thanks for your desire to be part of a Network that will only be better by your being part of it and for continually publishing content worthy of our readers time.
To those that have not yet submitted, you only have roughly 5 hours left to submit. Don’t be afraid to submit your site even if you think it unworthy. Maybe we can help you to get your site to a level which would be a shoe-in for Round 3.
Have a great weekend, and enjoy your Holiday.
